Birla Mandir

Birla mandir is devoted to Lord Venkateshwara and it is made up of white marbles from Rajasthan. It is built on a hillock called Kala Pahad which offers a good view of the city. It looks beautiful when lights are on at night.

It is believed that it took 2000 tonnes of marble to build this temple. Cameras and mobiles are prohibited inside the temple and one has to deposit them at the entrance. Birla Mandir is located near Hussain Sagar and it is about 3 km away from Nampally railway station and 7 km from Secunderabad railway station.
